About EmPowering Renters
The EmPowering Renters project received grant funding from the Queensland Government as part of the Enable Grants Program. Tenants Queensland is working in collaboration with Energetic Communities Association Incorporated to help Queensland renters reduce their energy use.
We recognise that renters in Queensland often feel at a disadvantage in navigating the complex world of energy management. Our goal is to transform this landscape by providing practical and accessible resources that empower renters to take control of their energy usage. Understanding energy consumption is the first step towards reducing living costs and advancing towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
We provide comprehensive guides on deciphering energy bills, which can often be confusing and overwhelming. By breaking down these documents, we equip you with the skills to identify the best energy deals and avoid potential pitfalls, such as scams or misleading offers. Our tools also enable you to assess the efficiency of your current appliances, promoting a shift towards more energy-efficient options that not only reduce your bills but also lessen your environmental impact.
Moreover, EmPowering Renters is committed to fostering lasting change through innovative solutions that encourage sustainable practices. By sharing insights on emerging energy trends and best practices, we help tenants make informed decisions that benefit both their wallets and the planet. Together, we can navigate the evolving energy landscape and create a brighter, more sustainable future for all Queensland renters.
We believe everyone should have the tools to make smart energy choices. By increasing awareness of energy trends and potential scams, we want to build a community of informed renters who can easily navigate their energy needs.
Join us in making renting a more empowering and affordable experience. Together, we can create a brighter, more energy-efficient future.
